I WILL RISE AGAIN

Posted on 31 Jul 2015, Pastor: Lemmy Gbenga Ayodele

Text: Micah 7:8-10 8 “my enemy, do not be happy because I am in trouble. I have fallen down, but I will get up. I am in the dark, but The Lord will be a light to me.”
Micah means Who is like God? His. Name describes God’s goodness.Who Will Rise Again?

  1. He who loves God, God loves us and wants us to love Him in return, He see the heart of men so, He can not be deceived by our love. 1 John 4:20, 1 Corinthians 8:3 example of a man who carries his wife up at home.
  2. One who is patient and of pure in heart and not thinking of evil of another person. David waited for God’s time. David had opportunity to kill Saul, but refused to kill him. 1 Samuel 19 & 24.
  3. Those who will allow God to order their steps. When God orders, He ordains. In Hebrews, it means to establish something that has a strong foundation. Proverbs 16:9. Psalm 37:23-24 3. He who focuses on God and His words. Job 23:10, Psalm 37:24.
  4. Those with the spirit of giving. When God commands you to give, he want to bless you more, one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthian 9:7 5. Serving God faithfully Psalm 100:2

WHY MUST I RISE AGAIN? Joel 2:25-26

  1. To eat in plenty
  2. To be satisfied
  3. To praise God.
  4. You shall not be ashamed.Brethren, we may fall again and again, trouble may come over and over, it may seem as if the struggle is perpetual, the good news is that, God’s plan and purpose is that we should rise.
